One Foot Lotus
10.1×13.1 feet
Made in 2025 by CC, this carpet's prototype was a late Ming palace carpet from the Forbidden City, known as
the 'Tiffany Palace Carpet' in the West. The fried-tea color clouds in the field are outlined with gardenia-yellow,
gorgeous and vivid; each colorful lotus floating above the glow has some subtle variation. Pinched inwardly at
four corners, the square medallion in the center gives people a sense of focus. The overall design is classically
symmetrical, serene, and peaceful. Walking on the carpet feels like walking on lotuses, so it is also called
"Lotus rising step by step," which refers to the extraordinary spiritual quality of people.
